| A winter wildcat trip on Mt. Misery Brook in the Pine Barrens. Photographer Wayne Albrecht reports it was "a trip Curt Gellerman and my friend Scott did on a very cold President's Day on Mt Misery Brook in the Pine Barrens. It was an advance flat water trip with us getting out of our boats at least 15 times get over trees and have enough twigs from going under trees to start a large fire each of our boats if it did not freeze to the bottom of the boats. The good news of the trip is we think we have found a new state record of the Atlantic White Cedar tree. It just needs to be confrimed with the state forester. We think we beat the old record by several inches." |
