...Browsers: Netscape Navigator (or Communicator) and Microsoft Internet Explorer account for 99 percent of all browsers in currently in use. They work and they are free. If you have versions older than 4.0 of either of these, upgrade! If you are using a computer at work or in a library and the browser isn't at least 4.0, ask that it be upgraded or upgrade it yourself if you can write to the hard disk. Go to Netscape.com or Microsoft.com to get a current browser. Be sure to read the instructions! This site is compatiable with Netscape 6 and IE 6 and Mozilla 0.9 and later.
...Adobe Acrobat Reader and PDF files: To download forms and files from this site, and many other internet sites, you will need to download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader. You will download a file named rs405.eng.exe or something similar. Save it to a folder on your hard disk. Click on it and it will self-extract and install.
...When you download a form or other document, the Acrobat Reader will open up. You can print forms, you can save form to disk as a PDF (portable document format) file, but you cannot edit forms. You can copy from forms and paste into another document. You can open saved forms by clicking on them or by opening them in the Acrobat Reader.
